چکیده
(Christian Althaus): The transmission of an infectious disease can be considered as an ecological system where different sub-populations of individuals interact with each other. There are so-called susceptible individuals who can get infected, infected individuals who are in a latent phase and do not transmit the disease yet, symptomatically infected individuals who do transmit, and those individuals who recovered from the disease or died. With sexual transmission, we assume that a certain proportion of those individuals who recovered from symptoms remain infectious through sexual transmission for a REDDIT

Hui-Chen, Yousuf, and Hunter: The need of biomarkers to detect at AD at an early age (hopefully, when disease progression can be slowed or stopped) is an obvious one. Forgive me but a lot of what you have written has gone quite above my head. From what I can tell you 'raced' various types of cell around a specific maze-like environment, and determined that it's not necessarily the fastest cell that won. This sounds very cool but I'm not sure what impact this might have on, say, medical applications. I'd guess possibly faster delivery of drugs and medical tre...
